  1. Budget Requester
  2.  
  3.     This  requester  allows you to
  4. review  and set the monthly budget
  5. amounts  for  each of your Expense
  6. and Income Categories.
  7.  
  8.     The selected Category is shown
  9. in  the box in the lower left part
  10. of  the  requester.   The Category
  11. Type  (Expense or Income) is shown
  12. above the selected Category Name.
  13.  
  14.     The   Left  and  Right  arrows
  15. allow  you to step through each of
  16. the  Categories.  In addition, you
  17. can   use   the   Account/Category
  18. Editor  to  select one.  Using the
  19. Account/Category Editor allows you
  20. to  Add  Delete and rename Expense
  21. Categories.     Use    the   Setup
  22. Requester     to     add    Income
  23. Categories.

  25.     There  is  a  field  for  each
  26. month.   You  can  set  the values
  27. individually,  or  quickly set all
  28. to  using  the  "Set  All  Months"
  29. button.

  31.     To assist you, several columns
  32. of relevant data is presented.
  33.  
  34. Actual
  35. ------
  36. This   column   shows  the  Actual
  37. monthly  totals  for  the selected
  38. Category.   Of  course  this  only
  39. includes  the transactions entered
  40. for  the current year.  Should you
  41. enter a transaction for a previous
  42. year  (or  for  a  future year for
  43. that   matter)   it  will  not  be
  44. included in the Actual Totals.
  45.  
  46. Income
  47. ------
  48. This   shows  the  total  Budgeted
  49. Income  for  each month.  Whenever
  50. you  change  an  Income Category's
  51. Budgeted  amount,  this  total  is
  52. adjusted.
  53.  
  54. Expense
  55. -------
  56. Like  the Income total, this shows
  57. the  total Budged Expense for each
  58. month.
  59.  
  60. Net Income
  61. ----------
  62. This  shows  the  total  budgeted
  63. difference   between   Income  and
  64. Expense Categories for each month.
